It may be tough to trigger wet avalanches on Saturday. You may encounter areas of weak, wet snow. If you sink into wet snow up to your boot-tops, move to slopes under 35 degrees. Consider the consequences of a cornice fall while warm weather continues. We've received recent observations of large, cornices breaking and triggering avalanches. Minimize your time underneath lingering under large overhung features.
Surfaces that froze on Wednesday and Thursday nights could melt from warm temperatures and light rain. Some surfaces above treeline may stay supportive and firm. The snowpack is still transitioning to melt forms which adds uncertainty during this prolonged warm weather.
