The general avalanche this morning is LOW at all elevations. Isolated pockets of surface slab up to 12 inches deep lie upon crusts and surface hoar.As temperatures increase this afternoon the avalanche hazard will rise on sunlight aspects above 9,000 feet where wet loose avalanches lying upon a well developed sun crust could be triggered by backcountry travelers. Below 9,000', the hazard is LOW as snow depths are shallow and avalanches are unlikely.

AVALANCHE HAZARD FOR THE TETON, TOGWOTEE PASS/CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND GREYS RIVER/SOUTHWEST TRAILS AREA The general avalanche hazard for Tuesday morning is LOW.The hazard will increase in the afternoon as temperatures rise into the 40's. Sunlit aspects could see wet loose avalanches triggered by back country travelers.
