The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW and significant avalanches are unlikely. One to three inches of new snow lies upon hard, wind blown snow and strong crusts. Well developed surface hoar also sits under the new snow in shaded and partially shaded aspects. Most lower elevation slopes are bare.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )A quick moving, weak system will bring light snow to the mountains overnight Saturday with accumulations of one or two inches. Lows Sunday morning will be in the teens and highs Sunday in the upper twenties. Ridge top winds will be westerly at 10 to 15 miles per hour.The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW. The snow is mostly stable and significant avalanches are not likely.
