The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Low hazard does not mean no hazard exists and isolated pockets of surface slabs to over foot in depth be human triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain, particularly near ridge crest where the most wind loading has occured.

Mountain temperatures are to rise from the single digits to near twenty degrees in the afternoon while ridge crest winds from Northwest blow with 15-25 mph averages.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Moderate at high elevations in the Tetons where pockets of slab could be human triggered in steep wind loaded terrain. The avalanche hazard is expected to be low at other elevations in the Tetons and the other forecast areas.
