Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the morning and increase to MODERATE at the higher elevations during the warmer portion of the day. Wet loose slides involving the recent new snow are possible on very steep slopes. These point slides could be triggered by skiers or riders or release naturally after temperatures rise. Isolated pockets of wind slab up to a foot in deep could also be triggered in some upper elevation avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. Evaluate terrain and conditions carefully and avoid terrain where even small slides can be consequential. Our last evening avalanche advisory of the season will be posted tonight. Our last morning avalanche advisories will be posted tomorrow, April 17. Thank you for all of your valuable observations and support.
