The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above an elevation of 9,000 feet. At the upper elevations pockets of slabs to 18 inches in depth could be triggered by users on steep, north to northeast facing slopes or cliff areas. Larger triggers, such as snow machines or groups, may be necessary to release avalanches. The general avalanche hazard is LOW below an elevation of 8,500 feet where the snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely.

Temperatures at 9,500 feet will be near zero in the morning then rise to 10 degrees during the day. Winds along the crests will be westerly at 20 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard above 9,000 feet will be Moderate. Pockets of wind slab to 18 inches in depth could be triggered by users on steep, lee slopes or above cliff bands at upper elevations. Larger triggers such as groups or snow machines may be necessary to release slides. At the mid and lower elevations the hazard will be Low.
