Low avalanche danger will prevail.

From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in extremely steep terrain. In addition the fresh wind slabs of the last few days at elevated altitudes are prone to triggering in very isolated cases. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised in particular in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.

As a consequence of falling temperatures, solar radiation and the light to moderate wind, the snowpack consolidated during the last few days. The wind slabs are small and unlikely to be released now. The snowpack will be well bonded over a wide area. Only a little snow is lying.

The avalanche danger will persist.
