The new snow can be released easily or naturally in all aspects above approximately 1500 m. The snowfall will give rise as the day progresses to rapid softening of the old snowpack over a wide area especially at intermediate altitudes.

Avalanche Activity

The new snow can be released easily or naturally in all aspects above approximately 1500 m. The snowfall will give rise as the day progresses to rapid softening of the old snowpack over a wide area especially at intermediate altitudes.

As a consequence of the snowfall numerous medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large ground avalanches are possible above approximately 1500 m.
