Forecast Snow Stability: Deposits of fresh unstable windslab will develop throughout the forecast period, mainly affecting North to East aspects above 1000 metres. These deposits will be localised and affect wind sheltered areas such as gully tops and coire rims. Fragile cornices will begin to develop above these aspects. Elsewhere the existing snowpack will be well bonded, firm and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Light snow showers throughout the day with gale force South-South-Westerly winds. The freezing level will rise to around 1000 metres by the end of the day. Observed Weather Influences: Light snow showers throughout the day on gale force South-South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 900 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The existing snowpack is firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Isolated deposits of fresh unstable windslab have developed on North to East aspects above 950 metres. These deposits are generally shallow and confined to wind sheltered areas such as gully tops and coire rims. The avalanche hazard is Low.
