Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls wind slabs formed. The fresh snow and the wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant. As a consequence of the precipitation more avalanches are possible as the day progresses, even large ones in isolated cases. As the moisture increases moist and wet avalanches are to be expected. This applies in particular at low and intermediate altitudes. Ski touring and other off-piste activities, including snowshoe hiking, call for caution.
