Not a lot happening out there. The strong alpine winds might pose a sloughing problem with gully features in the alpine. Climbers pay attention to terrain above you as the wind continues.

    Its a bit like Groundhog day out there right now. This layer is still a concern in the right area and deserves some thought and attention. Steep, thin coverage, alpine areas are the places of most concern.

Weather Forecast

A series of low pressures off the coast is keeping the flow from the W to NW. The winds at ridge line will stay in the strong to extreme ranges for the next while. No significant snow is forecasted to arrive in the next 2 days. Sunday may see a blip of light snow that may add up to 7cm. Temps will remain st the same range as today.
