Snowpack Structure
The new snow is lying on a crust. As a consequence of the strong wind, the snow drift accumulations will increase in size during the next few days. On south facing slopes only a little snow is lying.
Tendency
The avalanche danger will persist.
Avalanche Activity
The wind slabs of the last few days represent the main danger. The wind will be moderate to strong over a wide area.
Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on steep slopes. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.
