Lo esencial

New snow has fallen, but early season, shallow snowpack conditions remain in the Lutak zone.  Be cautious of rocks and shallow coverage.  Dry loose snow over hard pack in the upper elevations is unlikely to be triggered naturally, human-triggered avalanches remain possible.

    Thursday Nov 30th, 7" of snow was reported at the Ripinsky Weather Station.  This fresh snow fell on a crust when freezing levels rose to over 4,000' last week.
