Wind slabs and wet snow require caution.

A clear night will be followed in the early morning by favourable conditions generally, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 3000 m. Wind slabs can be released, mostly by large loads and reach medium size, especially at intermediate and high altitudes. Backcountry tours should be started early and concluded timely.

In some regions 15 to 30 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, fell on Sunday above approximately 2000 m. Up to 2000 m rain has fallen in particular in the Prealps. As a consequence of new snow and wind, mostly small wind slabs formed. The wind slabs are lying on a crust in high Alpine regions. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften earlier than the day before. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to rapid moistening of the snowpack over a wide area below approximately 2500 m.

The weather will be very mild. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will already soften in the late morning.
