In particular on sunny slopes and at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain small and medium-sized natural moist avalanches are possible. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Backcountry tours and off-piste skiing should be concluded timely.

The wind slabs of the last two days are to be evaluated with care and prudence above the tree line. In some places wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. The mostly small wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften earlier than the day before. In particular, however, the danger of moist avalanches will increase as the day progresses. Moist avalanches can occur easily or triggered naturally.
