Lo esencial
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Dangerous soft and hard slabs up to four feet in depth persist and could be human triggered on very steep wind loaded aspects. Yesterday in the Snake River Range a snowmobiler was caught, buried and recovered alive on a steep northeast facing upper elevation slide path. Hard slabs 2 to 4 feet deep were observed to have run naturally on very steep very high elevation southerly aspects near Wyoming Peak. One of these slabs stepped to the ground. Similar events could be human triggered today especially in the afternoon when increasing temperatures will weaken the snowpack.
