Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE in the early morning hours and will increase to CONSIDERABLE as warm temperatures and sunshine combine to weaken the snowpack. On steep wind loaded aspects surface slabs up to two feet in depth lie upon older deeper dense slabs, crusts and weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs and wet slides could be easily triggered by snowmobilers or skiers or could release naturally as the day warms. On steep sunlit aspects wet loose slides and pockets of wet slab could fail to the ground especially in areas with a shallow snowpack, on steep banks, roadcuts and in gullies.
