Lo esencial
At the mid and upper elevations areas of unstable snow persist on steep avalanche prone slopes underlain by a weak base of faceted snow and along the the lee edge of high ridge lines. Humans who venture into steep avalanche prone terrain could trigger hard slab avalanches one to three feet deep. These slabs could fail on approach or after a slope has been crossed multiple times. Those who make bold terrain decisions could incur severe consequences. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
