Avalanche Summary

Where you find continuous snow cover, you might trigger an avalanche on northerly and east-facing slopes above treeline. The most suspect terrain features hold denser, previously wind-drifted snow, more than about a foot deep. Most avalanches you might trigger will be small in size, but in the wrong terrain, one could still take you for a nasty ride.
