Avalanche Summary

Prolonged dry weather has decreased the avalanche danger, and most slopes are generally safe. You might be able to trigger a small slide on steep, recently drifted slopes below a ridge or rollover where thin slabs have formed. These should be mostly harmless unless you get caught up in consequential terrain. Seeking softer snow in sheltered areas will further reduce your risk.
