Locally unstable conditions. A skier or a snow mobile may trigger avalanches in the fresh wind slabs. Where there is less new snow there is a slick crust can which can make travel in steep terrain dangerous.

Oppdatert kl.09. Litt nedbør vil danne nysnøflak på utsatte steder i dag. Flakene vil stort sett bli små, men de vil være lette å løse ut mens været står på. Typisk i konvekse leformasjoner som innganger til renner.
Der hvor det er mindre nysnø er reel fare for utglidning, utvis varsomhet i bratt terreng.
Snowpack Structure
De siste dagers mildvær har skapt en hard, glatt og isete snøoverflate opp til ca. 700 moh.
Det ligger nå et dryss med nysnø oppå dette.
Tendency
Avoid areas with fresh wind slabs. The wind is picking up and snow on the ground will be eroded and deposited in wind sheltered slopes.
