As a consequence of a strong wind, sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs formed in the last few days at elevated altitudes. The fresh wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases in particular on north to northeast to southeast facing aspects above approximately 2200 m. The more recent wind slabs are to be bypassed in very steep terrain. As a consequence of the rain, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase a little in all regions at low and intermediate altitudes.

The snowpack is largely stable and has a loosely bonded surface. This applies in particular in shady places that are protected from the wind. In isolated cases new snow is lying on a hard crust. The rain gave rise to moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2000 m. In all regions only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.
