Avalanche Activity
The avalanche conditions are favourable.
In all altitude zones a favourable avalanche situation will prevail. Hardly any more moist avalanches are possible. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will hardly soften at all. In many places there is a danger of falling here.
Snowpack Structure
The small quantity of fresh snow and isolated small wind slabs will be deposited on a crust in all aspects. The old snowpack is well consolidated. At high altitude there are 30 to 50 cm of snow. In all regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.
Tendency
Berchtold's Day: The danger of moist avalanches will increase but remain within the current danger level.
