The avalanche danger is Low today above 8,500 feet. Avalanches are unlikely. The low elevations lack enough snow for a danger rating. The snowpack has been through multiple days of melt/freeze and it has been well over a week since the last snowfall. Early season conditions exist. Be aware of rocks and trees just below the snow surface when travelling in the mountains today.
