The surface of the snowpack is not frozen and will already be soft in the early morning.
Snowpack Structure
The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2000 m. As a consequence of high temperatures and rain the snowpack could settle hardly at all.
