NC for 13.2: Unstable windslab on N to E aspects above 900m, especially corrie rims, gully tops. Old snowpack mostly stable. Mod Haz

Forecast Snow Stability: Localised accumulations of unstable windslab will continue to develop on Northerly to Easterly aspects above 900 metres. Areas most affected will be around the tops of gullies and below coire rims. Apart from some isolated instabilities in areas of very steep terrain the old snowpack will become generally well bonded and stable at all altitudes. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Snowpack Structure

Snow showers will clear to leave a dry day. The 900 metre freezing level will rise to 1000 metres. Observed Weather Influences: Strong to gale force South-Westerly winds with snow showers above 900 metres. It was freezing just below summit levels. ObservedSnowStability: New accumulations of windslab have developed on North to East aspects above 1000 metres. Areas most affected are around gully exits and below coire rims. The old snowpack is slowly consolidating; however instabilities still remain on steep and convex North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
