Lo esencial

The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Avalanches are unlikely in the mostly stable snowpack however backcountry travellers could trigger recently fallen snow in the form of loose snow sluffs in isolated areas of very steep terrain above 9000 feet.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Instability in the moist flow aloft will produce occasional localized snow showers as the flow moves from the Northeast to the North and then the Northwest through Sunday. These backing winds will have averages of ten to twenty miles per hour while mountain temperatures are to rise from the low twenties in the morning to the upper twenties to low thirties in the afternoon. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be low as recently fallen snow is absorbed into the stable and homogeneous snowpack.
