The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW today. A mostly stable snowpack exists. Isolated pockets of soft suface slab up to 10 inches deep formed by north to east winds could be human triggered in very steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Skies are expected be partly to mostly cloudy. By evening a weak disturbance will bring a chance of light snow and increased wind. Temperatures will rise into the 30's. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Isolated pockets of new soft slab up to one foot deep could be human triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. Outlying areas that may have recently received considerably more new snow will have a significantly higher hazard.
