Lo esencial
At the mid and upper elevations recent snow and strong varying winds have formed soft slabs that lie upon slick sliding surfaces and have the potential to be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs vary in depths of one to two feet in the Teton Pass area to greater than three feet near Grand Targhee where considerably more snow fell on Friday and Friday night. At low elevations, isolated pockets of slab could be triggered on very steep terrain that has been wind loaded and is underlain by weak snow.
