With strong winds and new snow in the forecast the general avalanche hazard will rise to HIGH today. Soft slab avalanches up to four feet in depth will be easily triggered and are likely to release naturally as the day progresses. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
