Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New soft slabs up to two feet in depth lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of faceted and light density snow. Expect these surface slabs to release naturally or be easily triggered today on wind loaded slopes. Some potential exists for these slabs to step down to deeper layers of weak faceted snow.
