    Large persistent slabs could be human triggered on a variety of aspects. Above 7,500 feet, these slabs could have crown depths up to five feet deep. Below 7,500 feet, these slabs could have crown depths up to two feet deep. These slabs have been triggered in areas where thick deposits of wind-drifted snow have built up in avalanche starting zones. Shallow weak-spots in these slabs should be considered likely trigger points. These slabs may also become more susceptible to failure on sunlit aspects in the afternoon as the day warms. Do not let previous tracks lull you into a false sense of security as they are not an indication of stability.

Dense human triggered slides, two to five feet in depth, are probable on a variety of aspects. In the Tetons, the general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE. Similar slides are possible and could be triggered in isolated areas. In all forecast areas, the consequences of being caught in one of these slides remain high, and the likelihood of triggering these slides may increase in the afternoon with daytime warming.
