Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. Most slopes lack a stiffer slab needed to create an avalanche, and outside of some wind-hardened areas, the snowpack is thin and weak. You are much more likely to get injured hitting a rock or log than by an avalanche if you are riding or skiing off-trail.
