Currently there are favourable conditions generally. As the temperature drops only isolated avalanches are possible. Faceted weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular on very steep shady slopes. They can be released, mostly by large loads in isolated cases. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

In some localities up to 5 cm of snow will fall from the afternoon above approximately 1600 m. As a consequence of rising temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface during the last few days, especially on sunny slopes, as well as on shady slopes at low and intermediate altitudes. Intermediate and high altitudes, steep shady slopes: The snowpack is largely stable and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a strong crust. Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted. At low altitude only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.
