Light to moderate South East winds. Observed Weather Influences: Some overnight showers of sleety snow over summits with light rain at lower levels, then largely dry during the day. Cooler overnight then freezing near summits for a time and a little cooler later. Moderate South Easterly winds. ObservedSnowStability: Stability is good in many places. Moist snow at all elevations. Notably well bonded snowpack at depth on most lee slopes. Some minor localised surface wet snow instability noted but restricted to a few very steep West to North aspects below 950m; the onset of cooler conditions induced some consolidation here later.
