Avalanche Activity

Forecast Snow Stability: Unstable windslab will develop on South-East to South-West aspects above 900m. Widespread unstable windslab will remain on South-West through West to North aspects; more localised on North-East aspects. Coire headwalls, crag aprons and steep slopes especially affected. At lower elevations localised unstable windslab will be present on some steep banks and burn lines. Elsewhere above 1000m weaknesses will remain beneath a widespread friable crust. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.
