The avalanche prone locations for wet avalanches are to be found in particular on cut slopes below approximately 2500 m. From starting zones that have retained some snow on very steep shady slopes the wet avalanches can reach large size. The new snow of Tuesday is to be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects above approximately 2500 m. In particular on very steep slopes and at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain individual small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized avalanches are possible. Bases of rock walls are especially dangerous. As a consequence of wind, sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs formed especially above approximately 2500 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls in northwest to north to northeast facing aspects above approximately 2500 m. Transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are especially dangerous. In some localities increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches.

Precarious weak layers exist in the snowpack on northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to a loss of strength within the snowpack over a wide area in particular on steep slopes below approximately 2700 m. The new snow of Tuesday is loosely bonded above approximately 2800 m. The wind slabs are poorly bonded with the old snowpack above approximately 2700 m.
