The more recent wind slabs are lying on weak layers in particular on shady slopes. They can be released, even by small loads in isolated cases, in particular on very steep slopes. The avalanche prone locations are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls above approximately 2300 m. Here the avalanches can be triggered in the faceted old snow and reach medium size in isolated cases. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

Light snowfall above approximately 1500 m: Little snow will fall. 2 to 10 cm of snow fell on Tuesday above approximately 1200 m. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack on shady slopes. At intermediate and high altitudes snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The numerous rocks hidden by the recent snow are the main danger.
