Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will remain very firm and stable. Any new snow accumulations are not expected to be significant. Main accumulations will be in North and East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Some very light, occasional showers will fall as snow above around 750 metres. The freezing level will rise from 600 metres to 800 metres through the day. Winds will be light Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: A cold dry day with light North-Easterly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The existing snowpack is well bonded, firm and stable at all levels with a very thin layer of soft but stable fresh snow. Greatest accumulations are in North and East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
