Avalanche Activity

New snow represents the main danger.

Thus far only isolated small avalanches are possible as a consequence of the new snow.

Snowpack Structure

5 to 10 cm of snow has fallen above approximately 1200 m. The weather conditions will foster a gradual strengthening of the snowpack. In isolated cases new snow is lying on a moist old snowpack.
