Avalanche Activity

NC for 9.3. Drifting. Avalanches likely S to W aspects above 900m. Weaknesses within the snowpack on all aspects. Considerable haz.

Forecast Snow Stability: Fresh unstable windslab will progressively build as soft snow is redistributed, mainly on South to West aspects above 900m, where avalanches are likely. Areas most affected will be steep, convex terrain, such as coire rims and gully tops. Underlying weaknesses within the snowpack will persist on all aspects, with greatest instability on East to South aspects above 900m. Cornices will be fragile. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.

Snowpack Structure
