Forecast Snow Stability: Snowpack stability will generally remain good with a firm and icy surface persisting in most areas. Unstable pockets of windslab may exist in sheltered locations such as gully exits and corrie rims where old snow underlies on Northerly and Easterly aspects mainly above 850 metres. These areas are not expected to be deep or extensive and should generally be avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain dry with fresh winds from a generally Westerly direction. The freezing level in the morning will be around 400 metres rising to 800 metres through the course of the day.
