Lo esencial
Today's new snow won't increase the avalanche danger much. The avalanche danger remains generally LOW. It's possible we'll see some wet point release avalanches during the day today. Avoid being in confined gullies and below steep slopes if the snow surface is becoming damp.
Snow and Weather
Current Condition: Temperatures stayed very mild overnight but have started to decrease and are in the upper 20s this morning. Around 3 inches of dense snow fell over the last few hours. Southwest wind is moderate in speed along the ridges and fairly light in other locations.
Mountain Weather: If we're lucky we'll see a few more inches of snow accumulate through mid day today. High temperatures will be around 30 and southwest wind will slow as the day goes on. The next couple of days look pretty nice with mild temperatures and some sun. The next storm continues to look like it'll produce less and less snow for our zone Wednesday and Thursday. I'm not expecting much more than a trace to a couple of inches.
