Avalanche Activity

In particular on steep slopes and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain individual small avalanches are possible. Weak layers in the old snowpack can still be released in isolated cases on steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. In all aspects a low avalanche danger will prevail.

Snowpack Structure

As a consequence of low temperatures the snowpack will consolidate. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack on shady slopes.
