The snowpack is mostly stable. In very steep and rocky terrain at the high elevations, isolated pockets of hard wind slab up to a foot in depth could be triggered by backcountry skiers and riders.

A pattern change is occurring as weak moisture is to pass through in southwest flow ahead of a larger trough to the northwest. This will result in periods of light snow overnight through Monday. By Saturday afternoon, two to six inches of snow could fall in the higher elevations. Mountain temperatures are to rise into the upper twenties and ridge top winds will be southwesterly with ten to fifteen mile per hour averages.The general avalanche hazard is to be Low. Mostly stable snow exists in the backcountry. In steep rocky terrain above 9000 feet, the chance persists for backcountry travelers to trigger isolated pockets of slab.
