Air temperatures dropped into the mid 20s overnight. Mostly stable conditions are expected until snow surfaces soften. Warm temperatures will melt snow surfaces and increase the avalanche hazard. Wet slides are possible on very steep slopes after significant warming occurs. Avalanche terrain should be avoided during the warmest portion of the day.

A moist and unstable westerly flow will continue to bring snow showers to the mountains overnight. These showers are anticipated to decrease in the early morning hours and diminish during the day as skies slowly clear. Temperatures will drop into the mid 20s in the mountains and to near 30 degrees in the valleys by morning. Daytime highs will rise into the mid 30s at the upper elevations and into the upper 40s in the valleys.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the morning and increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. Wet slides are possible on very steep slopes after significant warming has occurred.
