A partly overcast night. In particular intermediate altitudes: The danger of moist and wet avalanches will already exist in the early morning. As a consequence of warming during the day there will be an additional increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches, in particular at the base of rock walls. As a consequence of solar radiation small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 2700 m. This applies in particular on very steep sunny slopes. The visible wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases, especially at their margins. These avalanche prone locations are rather rare and are easy to recognise. Such avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas above approximately 2600 m and in extremely steep terrain. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

Snow depths vary greatly at intermediate and high altitudes, depending on the infuence of the wind. At low and intermediate altitudes only a little snow is lying. The new snow of last week has settled to a large extent in particular on steep sunny slopes. The new snow and wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack in particular on sunny slopes. The weather conditions fostered a gradual strengthening of the snowpack. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to moistening of the snowpack in some cases in particular on very steep sunny slopes.

In some localities light snowfall: The avalanche danger will persist.
