Avalanche Summary

Wet avalanche concerns decrease Monday, but steer around steep slopes if you or your snowmobile are punching through the snowpack into weak, wet snow. You can expect better and safer travel conditions early in the day before snow surfaces soften.

Tuesday the avalanche danger rises as a strong storm brings heavy snow and gusty westerly winds.
