Lo esencial
The general avalanche hazard is LOW. A mostly stable early season snowpack exists comprised of faceted snow and some hard crusts. A chance continues for riders or skiers to initiate light surface snow as sluffs or shallow soft slabs in very steep terrain today.
Avalanche Discussion
( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Clear and dry conditions with stronger inversions are expected on Saturday. Temperatures at the higher elevations are to reach the upper twenties. Ten to fifteen mile per hour northwest winds are expected. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW. With the exception of the potential for sluffing in high very steep terrain avalanches are unlikely in the mostly stable faceted snowpack.
