Avalanche Summary

Recent north and northwest winds created a variable distribution of stiff drifted slabs, eroded surfaces, and wind-pressed snow at upper elevations. If you were to trigger an avalanche, it would be where you find firm, hollow-sounding, recently drifted snow. Deeper drifts are more likely on northeast, east, and southeast-facing slopes; however, cross-loaded terrain features can be found on all slopes.
